Welcome to Transitional Housing of Steele County where we provide an interfaith response to people with housing needs. Since we were incorporated in 2000, Transitional Housing of Steele County has helped safely house over 1,100 homeless individuals.
Transitional Housing helps people in need in two specific ways. First, we offer case management and rent subsidies to eligible homeless people in Steele County, Minnesota for up to 2 years. Second, we give families and individuals at risk of becoming homeless eviction prevention assistance on one occasion.
Transitional Housing of Steele County helps homeless individuals and families to transition out of homelessness and into independent living. It provides stable housing through rental subsidies and case management for homeless people for up to two years.
Transitional Housing also provides one-time rental assistance for those families or individuals who are at-risk of eviction due to an inability to pay rent.
